they've made more progress on our cabinets! they're coming out on monday to template the counters for the granite:
there will be shelves in the island where the square cut-out is:
there will be drawers in the island where the three blank spaces are and the double ovens will go in the square opening to the right of the doorway:
there will eventually be molding from the top of the glass cabinets to the ceiling:
the hood will go where the little metal circle is, the cooktop will go right under that (on top of the cabinet) and the fridge will go in the blank space all the way on the right:

Double oven? You doubled the amount of space you won't use? That just seems silly.

it's actually a convection microwave and convection oven combo so i guess it's not, technically, a double oven. we'll use the microwave all the time! plus, we'll have a warming drawer underneath.
i'd show you where you're sleeping at thanksgiving, but i can't find a good shot of the local motel 8 ;)
