you know what really pisses me off? people who critize the way you do a job that they themselves don't want to do. if you don't want to do the job, then shut the F up and let me do it my way.

Try this:
Ask that person how they would do it. (Pretend you care).
Tell them that is a great idea, but you would probably need help doing it.
If they don't volunteer, then they cant criticize you anymore (or it is easier to ignore)
. If they do, you've just gotten some help.
I did this all the time when working with parents at the high school. They felt liked I cared, but then decided it was better to let me do it my way. Win-Win.
OR
Tell them to F off and don't do it anymore. Han in there.
