Food for thought: the perception of a 15 year old girl towards her mother is going to be infinitely different from the mother's friends, husband, or neighbors. Whose perception would YOU trust?

Tough one. I think some people have accurate perceptions of themselves and some don't. Others only see what we allow them to see - so some might be accurate and some not. I need to think about this some more.
depending on the subject area, my husband and good friends tend to have the same viewpoint as I do. I do think that my perception of myself has become more honest and accurate as I have aged.
